Rag Rolling.

This sample bored started out as an ordinary piece of MDF and has been painted in a Rag roll finish.
The red glaze was applyed over a white eggshell base coat and then stippled to even out the glaze.

Then a rolled up piece of lint free cloth was rolled into a sausage and then rolled over the surface in all different directions to lift the glaze from the surface to produce the finish.
